Electronic invoice solution

The DIAN has a Free Web service in order to facilitate the issuance of the electronic invoice under conditions established in Decree 2242 of 2015 to micro and small enterprises in accordance with definitions of Article 2 of Law 905 2004 or those established by the Government National in development of article 43 of Law 1450 of 2011 or the provisions that modify or substitute these norms.

To facilitate the interoperability of the electronic invoice among the participants of the value chain, this solution allows the generation of the following elements:

A standard format for generating the invoice in XML, a format that uses the UBL V2 standard for its construction, which is defined by the DIAN and is mandatory for those who invoice electronically. Other standard formats related to the billing process are the debit and credit notes through which adjustments are made to the invoices issued; these XML formats are also mandatory.

The electronic and / or digital signature is an element that guarantees the integrity, authenticity and non-repudiation of the electronic invoice.

Have a graphic representation of the electronic invoice for those purchasers who do not receive the standard electronic format, with graphic elements such as QR codes.

This mode of operation represents a reduction in the billing cost for companies and an increase in their productivity by allowing them to send the previous products or documents electronically to the receiver (Buyer), issuer (Seller) and the Dian (Control entity).
